“May you live in interesting times”
-ancient Chinese curse
Make no mistake, these are the interesting times that are so forewarned. 2008 represents a crossroads of both history and ideals. For the first time in US history there is a huge generational, experience, race, gender and ideological disparity between both party’s candidates. Important issues ranging from a recessing economy to critical foreign policy, not to mention a slew of domestic issues, require savvy urgent attention of both republicans and democrats.
This page seeks to synthesize press coverage of both candidates and produce a critical analysis of the ins and outs of the election. I am a libertarian of ideological conviction, and as an “undecided” 20 year old student in a swing state my criticisms will capture the frustration and excitement of such a demographic.
